Yes — every Backyard Crafts piece is designed, cut, sanded and finished in our backyard workshop. No two pieces are ever exactly alike.
Our wood comes from anywhere we find wood that looks great and would make a great presentation.
So far we're obtained wood from Africa, Asia, Europe, North America, South America. The only 2 left are Australia and Antarctia, and we hope to find some there.
Absolutely. Custom engravings, personalized signs, wedding gifts and one-of-a-kind commissions are our specialty. Reach out with your idea and we'll build it together.
Most custom pieces ship within 2–4 weeks depending on the project. We'll always confirm a timeline before starting.
Hand-wash kitchen pieces with mild soap, dry immediately, and re-oil every few months with food-safe mineral oil. Decor pieces just need an occasional dusting.
We currently ship across the US and Canada. For other destinations, email us and we'll quote shipping directly.
